In his art, Jan Zdvořák (*1983) relies mainly on intuition and an intense dialogue with a particular place. Most of his works reflect a specific constellation of factors such as time and space. Other fundamental elements are improvisation and a sense of joy from artistic creation in the sense of an absolute confirmation of his existence. In this, he draws mainly on the phenomena of image and text, which he uses as archives of forms or as the basic building blocks for modular systems. At the Church of St. Lawrence in Klatovy, Zdvořák presents another of his monumental site-specific installations.
