An exhibition of works by the recently deceased Austrian sculptor Karl Prantl and his wife, painter Uta Peyrer. Exhibition curator Miroslava Hajek, who lives in Italy, has followed both artists for a long time. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of Dr. Ferdinand Trauttmansdorff, the Austrian ambassador in Prague, and Václav Koubík, the Pilsen region’s councilor for culture.

The exhibition’s aim is to compare these two artists’ creative processes and to identify the mutual influences that naturally arose during their life together.

The exhibition presents an interesting juxtaposition of similar artistic approaches in such dissimilar fields as painting and sculpture – approaches that developed in parallel but nevertheless entirely independently in order to create remarkable results.
