The ten participating artists work with traditional sculptural techniques and issues. Working with elementary geometric shapes, they arrive at fundamental shapes and principles through purification and minimalization. Their goal, however, is not to find a stable unchanging order; instead, they are aware of the network of relationships associated with the creative act and with the perception of the work, which they mediate through optical illusions, shifts in perception, the meaning of the material, and transformations in time and space. Their art represents their search for the shape and place of sculpture within contemporary art.

At the exhibition at the Church of St. Lawrence in Klatovy, several of the artists will also be responding directly to the cultural and aesthetic meaning of the sacral space through the creation of site-specific works.
