With this year’s Shared Journeys, we enter into the annual exhibition’s second decade.

As in the past, it is co-organized by the Klatovy/Klenová Gallery and the City of Klatovy. Following last year’s edition, which after a two-year break included German artists from the border regions around Cham and Zwiesel, we again focus primarily on artists from the Klatovy region.

This year’s exhibition once again is characterized by a non-traditional approach, inspired by the long-term issue of artists being overlooked as individuals, present only through their works.

To this end, we have chosen an exhibition format that makes use of performative presentations of the artworks by the artists themselves. Each artist will chose one work to present as part of a pre-recorded video description.

The video will be screened during the exhibition in the form of an improvised cinema.
