Rudo Prekop / Cosmos

Rudo Prekop is one of several artists who since the 1980s have become known for their original and inimitable view of reality. One basic line of his oeuvre consists of arranged (sometimes almost theatrically so) series of photographs. In another group of works, he creates absolutely natural images in which nothing has been prepared in advance. Also interesting is an extensive set of photographs that he has been working on for several years in which he explores the cosmos. The form taken by these photographs is constantly evolving in response to Prekop’s always-expanding knowledge and experience.
