The exhibited works are mixed-media contact prints on classic baryta paper, made from large-format negatives that the artist has variously altered (for instance, by cutting, polishing, or melting them). The layering of other materials such as tracing paper, printed film, or blown glass accentuates the depth of the photogram image.

The black-and-white photographs work with the theme of memory – the manifestation, covering over, and reassessment of experiences, situations, and recollections. Sometimes, more concrete details from the photographs float to the surface, only to be submerged within the overwhelmingly abstract structures in other parts of the image.
