10th annual survey of works by students of after-school arts programs in the Pilsen Region
As in past years, the 10th annual survey of after-school arts programs in the Pilsen Region is being held in the exhibitions spaces of the former granary at Klenová. The event includes the presentation of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Palettes named in honor of Vilma Vrbová-Kotrbová. Each award includes a certificate and a material prize – a set of top-quality art supplies. The winners are chosen by visitors and a jury of experts. All visitors can write an artist's name on a piece of paper and place it into the ballot box located on the granary's ground floor. The winning work will be permanently exhibited in the gallery's new exhibition spaces in the castle tower (whose cellar once housed a dungeon), where we are gradually putting together a permanent exhibition of winning works. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, 25 May at 3pm during the opening reception for the exhibition NEARBY AND WITHIN STRIKING DISTANCE III.
