A member of the newly emerging generation of artists, Jiří Staněk has quickly found a distinctive style involving the use of his own particular technique, shaping paper into loose, sophisticated geometric reliefs in which an important role is played by color contrasts. His works combine strict order with a randomness that gives them a sense of vibrancy while opening up new paths and artistic possibilities.
