The Art Dialog – Interspaces symposium is part of the gallery’s long tradition of organizing international gatherings of teachers and young artists from art schools at Klenová Chateau. It is held every two years in the form of a biennial. The symposium traditionally focuses on multimedia works that engage in a dialog with the natural and cultural context of the region, explore the possibilities for creative communication and mutual influences among formal tendencies in contemporary art, inspire discussion as to the meaning and function of art across artistic disciplines, and provide artists with creative inspiration for their future work. This year, art academies from the Czech Republic and the United States have pledged their participation in this collaborative project, and students and teachers from these schools will share their creative experiences both in the outdoors of the western Bohemian landscape and at the Klatovy/Klenová Gallery.
